Its business is not with nostalgia or sentimentality, with story or anecdote, with the make of hat my father wore, the brand of tea we drank, the particularity of place names, all fine and comforting things, but not the business here.
The business here is otherwise. It is to unravel. It is to make plain. It is to investigate why I am how i am. That is the question it addresses, Its sole concern. It seeks those harder bones.
