Callie’s Family

From the author of Playing Beattie Bow and The Muddle-headed Wombat, this is the sequel to Callie’s Castle, illustrated by Kilmeny Niland, Park’s daughter with huband (and author) D’Arcy Niland.

Callie’s growing up. And so are her brother and sister. Callie still has her own private “castle”, a tiny room in the roof, but for how much longer? Soon she will be too big to squeeze up the tine staircase, and then it will be Dan’s turn to have the room. After all, Callie has agreed. But how can she bear to give up her special place? Where will she go to be on her own, just to think or to dream about her handsome cousin Marius?
