Digit Dick and the Lost Opals

Digit Dick and the Lost Opals takes Dick on a series of adventures into the harsh Australia desert.

When the Flying Doctor pays a visit to his father, Digit Dick overhears the story of Tom Bradley’s missing opals. And so begins a race across the gibber stones to the Red and Purple Mountains – to prevent the opals from falling into the clutches of the evil witchdoctor, Jingara (ably served by his wily assistant, Perentee, the goanna).

Digit Dick shares his adventure with Wirra, the little Aboriginal girl. With the help of the native birds and animals, they resourcefully face the dangers of the strange yet beautiful desert country.
