Today, thanks to timely government action, the koala continues to roam through the eucalyptus forests of eastern Australia.

The furry ears, ‘tennis ball’ nose and woolly fur, with which the delightful koala is endowed, seem deliberately calculated to be irresistible. This has resulted in a flourishing trade in children’s toys based on the koala and the endearment of the native marsupial to all who see it.”
