It Is Written, Baby

David John Graney is an Australian rock musician, singer-songwriter and author. In 1997 Graney released his first book, It is Written, Baby, a collection of his lyrics interspersed with fragments of journalism, memoir and opinion.

Dave Graney, the current King of Pop, was finally recognised as Best Male Artist at 1996’s ARIA awards, a recognition long overdue according to his huge underground fanbase. A collection of his musings on music and the world, as well as a catalogue of his best-known lyrics with explanatory comment. Lavishly illustrated with photographs, paintings and memorabilia, and supported by an acoustic tour by the man himself.
