Once upon a time there was a country house which grew and grew and grew and became a palace under the king’s magic wand. Thus was born, in the time of Louis XIV and Charles Perrault, the largest and most prestigious castle in the world. But nearly two centuries of whimsical projects, order na counter-orders, were necessary to harmonise dreams and reality.
