Peppino

Peppone the travelling magician had come to town with his son Peppino.

He stood in the middle of the market square and astonished the crowd with his tricks. He swallowed fire, he swallowed swords and sabres, he swallowed big iron nails; and all went well, until one of the nails stuck in his throat.

What was to be done?

Peppone was taken to hospital, and Peppino was alone, all alone.
