Pablo Picasso: The Artist Before Nature

Pablo Picasso, whose colossal artistic personality has left an imprint on the very way we see the world around us, is undoubtedly the most famous artist of this century.

His achievements as a painter, sculptor, draughtsman, printmaker and ceramist are presented for the first time in New Zealand in the exhibition Pablo Picasso: The Artist Before Nature, organised by the Auckland City Art Gallery and selected by the London-based art historian Marilyn McCully.
