Orchids of the Anglesea District: a Field Guide

The rich heritage of native orchids in the Anglesea District has attracted visitors for many years.

The fact that many of these orchids are becoming rare and even facing extinction because of continual loss of habitat has been the driving force in the production of this book. This book details all known native orchids of the Anglesea District (100 at time of publication) with a Colour Photograph, Name Derivation, Description, Flowering Time, Local Habitat and Local Conservation Status. The authors hope it will encourage visitors to Anglesea, as well as orchid enthusiasts, to support efforts to preserve areas where orchids are to be found.
