The book describes the chronological evolution of the paintings of an eminent Indian (from India) artist – Laxman Pai.

The works in this book span five decades and contain 150 colour and 80 monochrome plates. The paintings are an expression in nature and human forms influenced by aesthetic concepts of Indian miniatures.
