A pair of American adventurers go to Samoa to search for a sunken ship containing a fortune in diamonds and are set upon by a gang of vagabonds known as the Beach Combers. An adventure novel based on stories of escaped convicts and ticket-of-leave men who made their way from the Australian penal colonies to the freedom and dangers of a wild life in the Pacific Islands.
