Four Mothers

A debut novel which spans five generations and a hundred years in the life of Jerusalem, telling of Amal who is saddened when her husband leaves her after the birth of their first child, but she is supported by mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, who rejoice that she has given birth to a son.
