Second edition of a volume in the Butterworths Tutorial series, first published 1996.

Describes and evaluates major aspects of the rules of evidence as well as providing instruction on how to use those rules in solving practical problems. Questions are asked in each chapter with a view to directing law students to the operation of rules in their practical context. Recent evidence legislation is also considered, up to 1 April 2001.
