Elementary Logic

An elementary introduction to modern logic, suitable for work in schools, as background reading for philosophy undergraduates, and as a self-tutor for interested adults.

The book is presented in a series of graded chapters with set exercises and answers. It aims to help the student develop and acquire a knowledge of logic enabling him to think and argue constructively within logic’s established framework.
The text is non-mathematical in approach and assumes no previous knowledge of the subject.
