Alice Springs

An autobiographical essay that touches on the many different facets of the town called Alice – it’s appeal to the visiting American ‘New Agers’ who flock to pay their respect to Ayers Rock; its mystical attraction for the Aboriginal people; and its effects on the residents for whom life goes on as they watch their town undergo yet another major social change.
