Mary Poppins in the Park

One of the beloved Mary Poppins series, this book contains six adventures with Mary Poppins and the Banks children (of whom there are four, not just two as in the film). In these stories, the children meet the Goosegirl and the Swineherd, argue with talking cats on a distant planet, make the acquaintance of the folks who live under dandelions, and celebrate a birthday by dancing with their own shadows.

Potential buyers should be warned that the book is an original from 1952 and that it includes characters and dialogue that are today considered racist. Please ask me to tell you about “The Park in the Park” story if you would like to know the worst before buying.
