When Cecily the snail sees something stamping and snorting and rolling its eyes in the animals’ usual meeting-place amongst the mulberry bushes, she rushes off to warn her friends. None of them can decide what to do, no-one dares to go and see what the terrible monster wants.

Only Buzz the fly, who is late as usual and has missed all the excitement, is curious enough to go and see what is really in the bushes..
