The Shearwater Bell

“It’s the ghost bell,” Wiri whispered. “It’s bad luck, they reckon.”
“What kind of bad luck?” asked Rona.
“They say when the bell rings, someone’s going to die …”

That’s not something Rona wants to hear, when her father’s lying critically injured in a London hospital. However, Wiri’s discovery of an old mariner’s diary provides clues as to the source of the ghost bell, and in searching for it, Wiri and Rona discover much more than they expected.
