That Crazy April

Cress Richardson, eleven years old and goblin-shaped, has a lot of things going for her that April: Xandra’s surprise news, the chance to be a flower girl at the bridal show, metal sculpture classes and best of all Davey’s special fishing party.

When Davey expects her to provide the food but forbids her to fish, thorny problems and nagging doubts start to pester her. But the crazy and often hilarious events make Cress take a new look at her family, her friends and herself.
