ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Glyn Charles taught himself to sail at the age of fourteen and won the British Laser Nationals five years later. He has since won championships in Solings, J24s and offshore yachts. He has skippered a One Tonner in the Admiral’s Cup and was Britain’s representative in the Star Class at the Savannah Olympics.
