I lay at the foot of a cliff. There was a cave at its top, barred with a spiral of web, but the centre of the web was missing – a hole within a hole. In Mori’s garden I had looked through a window covered by lace cobwebs.
Now I was on the other side, and the window was a cave with a real web across it, broken by my fall into Annfwn…
