As well as the great set pieces of Georgian Bath, the comprehensive gazetteer includes many of the lesser buildings which form so important a part of the city’s ambience. And there is a selection of Bath’s interesting Victoriana. Everything in the gazetteer is illustrated, most of the photographs having been specially taken for the book. There is also a historical outline and short biographical dictionary of Bath architects.
