A Taste of Summer

In A Taste of Summer Beverley Sutherland Smith has created some stunningly original salads.

Using fresh produce as her inspiration she has turned salads into an art form. They are all visually exciting as you can see by the beautiful colour photographs taken by Ray Joyce and they’ve all been tested by the author and her kitchen team. There are salads for first courses, main courses and accompaniments. Salads made from fish and shellfish, game, meat, vegetables, eggs, warm salads (a beautiful idea this, they’re served at room temperature and taste really fresh), fruit salads and green salads. There is also information on how to make dressings and herb vinegars, how best to store lettuce, which oils to use.
